If you are passionate about supporting community nonprofits, you are invited to sponsor Abada-Capoeira DC (ACDC) Brazilian Arts Center’s 2026 Batizado & Capital Games. Investing in our kids, students and community provides your business access to hundreds of households throughout the DC Metro area.

One of the most important events that we hold annually is our Batizado (induction & graduation ceremony.) This year’s event will take place March 26-29, 2026. It is the annual occasion where new members will be officially “baptized” into the group and receive their first corda and where continuing members, depending on their progress, will receive a new one. Mestrando Coala from Brazil will be our VIP guest leading our pre-batizado workshops and presiding over the batizado. Additionally, we are hosting the 3^rd edition of the ACDC Capital Games where students from all over will compete to become champion. Mestranda Gigi (Brazil) and Mestrando Côco (FL) will join Mestrando Coala as judges to the competition

We are looking for sponsors & donation partners for this event at many levels and options. Sponsorships include recognition (including your logo) on all digital, print and social media event specific materials. A hyperlink to your website will be included in all digital & social promotion.
